For several years at Bikedock, we have been specialists in providing tricycles for use by special needs cyclists. They are much more affordable than other brands of specials needs tricycles, and the standards of quality are the same. We are a registered supplier of the Health Service Executive.

We work closely with physiotherapists and occupational therapists to prescribe the correct cycle formula for each user. Tricycles previously supplied have ranged from standard equipment to fully customised trikes for severely disabled riders.

Some of our previous modifications have included:

single-pedal setups for persons with impaired movement in one leg
custom controls for comfortable one-handed steering and braking
full backrest solutions for saddles
arm rests
self-levelling pedals
