A deposit of £100 is required by credit/debit card or cash, for each bike. This is refunded on safe return of all equipment.
Visitors to Northern Ireland will be required to leave their passports until they return. Others will be required to provide photographic evidence of identity and postal address.
In parties up to 10 in number, two members will be required to produce this proof.
Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.
The hirer is responsible for any damage or loss caused during the period of hire.
Locks are provided with all bikes and must be used.
Bikedock reserves the right to retrieve all equipment it deems to have been vandalised or misused in any way, without refund of any deposit paid.
The hirer will be required to sign a contract of hire.
All equipment must remain in Northern Ireland, unless otherwise agreed.
All late returns will be charged by the day for each day (or part day thereof) late.
All equipment must be returned to Bikedock. If equipment is not returned to Bikedock and needs to be collected from another location, collection charges will be levied.
To comply with health and safety regulations, all hirers must demonstrate evidence of prior and recent experience in the use of a bicycle.
In the event of an accident, all detail must be conveyed to the nearest police station and Bikedock immediately.
All complaints or disputes, with reference to any booking, must be made at the time when the equipment is returned. Complaints or disputes lodged at a later date cannot be investigated or deemed credible.
Pets must not be carried on hired bicycles at any time.
If an advance booking is cancelled then the following terms will apply:
Over one month prior to hire date - a full refund
3 to 4 weeks prior to hire date - 75% of deposit refunded
2 to 3 weeks prior to hire date - 50% of deposit refunded
Less than 2 weeks prior to hire date - no refund of deposit.
The hirer will be required to confirm acceptance of all terms and conditions.
